Wow! Amazing addition to Pembroke Lakes Mall, with reclining seats and a state of the art Imax theatre. Complete with not just snacks, but a full bar including craft beers and top shelf cocktails. There's something for the whole family here in a fresh, clean environment brought directly to our backyards! This is the only thing the neighborhood needed. We are now in paradise.
AMC Pembroke Pines is a nice, but expensive cinema. It's Dolby theaters is much larger than AMC Aventura. So if you're looking for an alternative to D-Box it'll probably be a good choice for a matinee. Like I said before the place is expensive. The ticket prices aren't set like other theaters. Tax will be applied to all purchases. This AMC thinks they're slick by removing the small portion from its concession stand. Had to be the most expensive popcorn and drink I've ever bought. I'm not a fan of the cashless society movement. If you're going there you're forced to use debit or credit. I don't like having every transaction I make tracked. Let alone being forced to do anything. They also don't let you know this before hand. They don't even have a ticket cashier, it's all self-serve. In this situation you're encouraged to purchase online. Buying online carries a fee of course. Which means more profit for AMC. It's safe to say AMC Pembroke Pines doesn't have to worry about my ass coming back for a while, if ever. Regardless hope your experience is better than mine. Peace.
Very nice spacious lobby. The fact it has a bar is a plus for sure. The process of picking up your ticket and walking into the theater using ticket machines was very fast and felt very modern. The seats weren't as spacious as I would like but the inside screen and Dolby sound experience was absolutely great. Overall a great experience.
This is an awesome addition to an already great city! The theater has modern decor and the IMAX quality was amazing. Reserved seating makes the experience even better. They've even got a bar! Highly recommend!
The actually movie theater is very nice & well kept but horrible experience with one of the girls at the front named Brianna. She is clueless & no help & has a horrible personality.. oh and she did not give us back our full refund for the tickets ... but we didn’t even want to deal with her anymore, not sure if I’ll go back.
