This is the worst.... I was in a car accident and called at 2:41 and it's 4:05 and no one showed up...what kind of public service is this!!!..they deserve no stars TERRIBLE
May or may not have let me go on DUIs a few times, lessons learnt. Super professional officers, always courteous and reasonable. Show them respect and you will be treated with respect.
I am traumatized by the way I was treated my a racist cop... I’m not usually the one to pull the racist card but Pembroke Pines is not the place to raise my kids..
I traveled 18 hours from Indiana to check on my sick daughter, the facility she is at will not let me see her, they won't let me talk to her on the phone! Everytime one of her immediate family calls to check on her they curse at us and hang up on us! NOW THEY WONT ANSWER OUR CALLS AT ALL!! My child is in there!!!! She made me promise I would come And they wont let me see or talk to her! My name is listed on her medical record so that i can ask questions but they disregard that fact! I am not being told ANYTHING!! When I requested police stand by assist for a wellness check of my daughter they sent an officer BUT NOT TO HELP ME!! THE DOORS WERE LOCKED AND MY DAUGHTER WAS IN THAT BUILDING AND THEY WOULD NOT LET ME SEE HER TO MAKE SURE SHE WAS OK!!!! THEY WOULD NOT EVEN TELL HER THAT I WAS THERE!! IT WAS VOLUNTARY, SHE CAN SIGN HERSELF OUT ANYTIME BUT THE POLICE AND FACILITY WOULD NOT TELL HER THAT! SHE HAS A RIGHT TO AN INFORMED DECISION!! WHY DIDNT THE PPD PROTECT MY DAUGHTER'S RIGHTS???? SHE HAD A RIGHT TO KNOW I WAS THERE! THE PLACE SHE'S AT IS BREAKING LAWS AND POLICE WILL DO NOTHING!!!!! SHE HAS RIGHTS! YOU DON'T LOOSE YOUR RIGHTS BECAUSE OF ILLNESS!! THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON NOT TO TELL MY DAUGHTER I WAS HERE TO SUPPORT HER!! I'VE NEVER BEEN MORE ANGRY IN MY LIFE! SHAME SHAME SHAME ON YOU PPPD!!!!! OFFICER BOONE 496 YOU WERE SO RUDE , MEAN AND UNPROFESSIONAL!! I DID EVERYTHING I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO, I KEPT CALM, I WAS PROFESSIONAL, I TRIED TO GET THEM TO UNDERSTAND THAT I AM HERE FOR MY DAUGHTERS BEST INTEREST AND I JUST WANT TO CHECK ON HER FOR MYSELF! THIS IS TRAUMATIC FOR ME AND MY FAMILY AND WILL NEVER BE OK!! YOU NEED TO BE FIRED OR SOMETHING NEEDS TO HUMBLE YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE THE WORST EXAMPLE OF A PUBLIC SERVICE OFFICER! I HAVE NO RESPECT FOR YOU AT ALL. IT HAS NOW BEEN 7 TORCHEROUS DAYS SINCE I LAST SAW OR TALKED TO MY CHILD! I WANT SOMETHING DONE ABOUT THIS!!!
I have lived in Pembroke Pines for 31 years, finally moving away. This is, by far, one of the worst police departments in all of Florida. They are rude, incompetent, and belligerent with anyone and everyone, including Pines residents with absolutely no record whatsoever. They wear camouflage and body armor to conduct speed traps, search vehicles without probable cause, and they LOVE to write written-arrests to avoid any actual booking/processing work. Our family once had our house broken into and the Pines Police refused to write any police report or investigate the crime, which we believed was to keep crime rates lower than it actually is. Most of the officers would most likely fail a steroids drug test and barely any of them even wear their uniforms anymore. T-shirts with police written on it, 2 button polo shirts with a stitched on badge, camouflage pants tucked into their combat boots, body armor and tactical gear while conducting normal traffic stops. They are a joke and after 31 years of living in Pembroke Pines, not having to deal with this dysfunctional department is probably the best part about it. I don't even like that I have to give them 1 star, if I could, 0 stars would be more appropriate.
