Went there for lunch. Waited a while before a hostess showed up to seat us. After that it's been a very down hill ride with our waitress forgetting just about everything we asked for: napkins, silverware, another order of fries, refill on drinks. Never got the napkins or silverware. The sad part is the 2 other tables nearby who came after us left before we did due to the lack of service we were getting. It wasn't even packed just 5 tables, in a pretty empty room. She seemed to gravitate towards those tables more often. Every time I managed to get her attention, she would be very polite then rush off to do something else and forget what I just asked for. After asking for the check (paying cash) multiple times, we got a bill which was VERY wrong. Three different tables were on our receipt. She had to correct the receipt twice before it was our order and we never got a bag for our left over food (10 mins wait). The food itself is average, a slight upgrade from McDonald's. Service is poor.
Friendly service, good deals. A nice place to take the family if you're shopping at the mall and need to take a break. Very child-friendly, they have kids menus, a chalk board for them to play on, balloons for when they leave. The menu consists mostly of burgers but the food has been great everytime I visit.
Given that I work in the industry, I don't appreciate when managers don't know the laws of the State where they work. I went in looking to have dinner with my daughter, waiting list was huge and for no reason because the place was empty! So I decided to sit at the bar and was told that my daughter couldn't sit there cause it was the law. Really?! That's funny because I just had to renew my responsible vendors card and in the class they said it is perfectly legal as long as they're with an adult. I understand you guys have the right to refuse service, but dont lie and say it's the law because is not. Sucks because I really do like Red Robbin but I prefer to take my business where there's competent people.
Took 2 hours to get our food. Half of the orders were wrong, one of the members in my party ordered a teriyaki chicken sandwich, no teriyaki sauce. When I ordered a burger they asked how I would like it cooked, I asked for medium and received a burger an hour later well done and dry. I would've been more satisfied with a big Mac for less than three times the price. Would not recommend.
I went to Red Robin for the first time yesterday with my mother and daughter. It was good. The hostess and the server took a bit longer than expected to greet us (restaurant was not busy at this time), but other than that, we liked it. Food was good; big, beautiful salads presented very nicely. Overall Good Service. We will be back on a Family Night.
