I have shopped at this store since it opened nearly 20 years ago. It is a hispanic themed store (with a Cuban flavor) so be prepared for it being a little loud and unruly however lots of good prepared food ( go before noon) the folks that work and shop there are for the most part really nice people. If you are not Spanish speaking and have a sense of humor you'll love it!
Cafeteria food is very good, coffee excellent but service is very slow do to lack of help.
Since i am a native Hispanic born in Puerto Rico i was very excited to discover this store. Prices are not bad either. Only drawback would be some staff don't speak English well but there are others willing to help. Nice,neat and, clean.
Produce is cheaper here than Publix, Winn Dixie or WalMart, yes ,cheaper than WalMart. I rate this place low because it smells like dead fish when you walk thru the doors. Also low rating because unless you speak Spanish ( I do) you are screwed. Older Americans shopping there are frustrated and confused but have to shop there because they live in a seniors apartment behind the store. Another reason why I give low marks. Prices. True produce is cheaper but I found items way over priced compared to the other stores. They have a coffee bar there which is always pAcked. One dollar loaf of bread comes in handy sometimes. Point for that. It's next to a dollar store, visit them. If I need something quick, I'll hold my nose walking in. Good luck
Good prices on good variety of items. Skip the deli if there's a line, service is a bit slow.
